Jennifer van Rouveroy joined Berry Simons in February 2020 after graduating from the University of Auckland with a conjoint degree in law (hons) and science. She was the recipient of the prestigious University of Auckland Scholarship for exceptional students, the Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust Scholarship and the Young Achievers Award. She represented New Zealand at the United Nations on global development issues at the University Scholars Leadership Symposium.
Closer to home, Jennifer was Events Executive Officer for Effective Altruism Auckland, leading a team of ambassadors in the name of “Using reason and evidence to do the most good”. She volunteered with the Equal Justice Project Pro Bono team, aiding practitioners in legal research in issues affecting equal justice.
Jennifer completed her honours dissertation on the “Reform of the Resource Management System as an Opportunity for Environmental Governance”. She is passionate about Environmental and Resource Management Law and anticipates a bright future ahead in the field.
