Olivia is an Environmental and Resource Management Law specialist who joined Berry Simons in March 2020. She graduated from the University of Auckland with a conjoint degree in Laws and Arts in 2017 and was admitted as a solicitor in June 2017.
Prior to joining Berry Simons, Olivia worked as a junior barrister in resource management and public law, and spent a year doing construction litigation with Grimshaw & Co.
Olivia has experience on a variety of resource management matters including resource consent applications, notification issues, and resource consent judicial reviews, as well as liquor licensing.
Outside the law, Olivia is a passionate martial artist, holding the rank of brown belt in judo. As Secretary of the Auckland Judo Association and a director on the Judo New Zealand Board of Directors, Olivia actively participates in the management and direction of judo in the Auckland and Northland regions, and nationally.
Olivia also enjoys running, all manner of water sports, and music, and is an accomplished pianist and saxophonist.
