Tallulah joined Berry Simons as a solicitor in August 2022 after a year doing corporate work in one of the large law firms. She was admitted as a solicitor in October 2021 and graduated from Auckland University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce degrees.
Tallulah has a strong interest in Environment law and has worked with her family's development company to obtain consents for urban and residential developments. Her whakapapa is to Ngapuhi and Te Rarawa iwi and Tallulah is excited to see how tikanga Maori will inform Environmental law moving forward. She sees her move to Berry Simons as an opportunity to better understand the interaction between Environmental law, urban expansion, and the sustainability of New Zealand's natural systems.
Tallulah is excited to be working with the highly experienced team at Berry Simons. She says:
Berry Simons stands out as a successful firm with a plethora of knowledge and experience. The firm's lawyers strive to balance competing issues and completing interests. I know I am going to learn a great deal very quickly.
Outside of work Tallulah practices martial arts and enjoys everything Aotearoa New Zealand has to offer including hunting, fishing, mountain biking, tramping and snow skiing.
