Tamsin joined the Berry Simons team in April 2019 as a graduate and was admitted as a solicitor in May 2019.
Originally from the UK, Tamsin obtained her law degree at the University of Manchester and worked in legal administration roles for law firms in Auckland and Queenstown after immigrating to Aotearoa New Zealand.
A natural advocate with a passion for environmental development and sustainability, Tamsin works closely alongside our partners, providing legal support and taking on an increasing degree of responsibility on a range of consenting and policy issues.
Tamsin enjoys Berry Simons’ approach:
“Transparency is our strength. Our boutique approach means your outcomes are going to be sustainable and enduring, and I think that level of integrity is something you’d hope clients are always looking for.”
Tamsin is invested in embracing the culture here in Aotearoa New Zealand. In 2016, she completed a Te Ara Reo Māori language course at The Southern Institute of Technology. When she’s not in the office you’ll likely find her practicing Te Reo, enjoying the great outdoors or perched somewhere beautiful, camera in hand.
