Olivia Gunn

Olivia joined Berry Simons in September 2022 and was admitted as a solicitor in November of the same year.
She advises clients on all aspects of environmental and resource management law. Olivia also represents clients in litigation before the New Zealand courts and in proceedings at the local government level, including alternative dispute resolution processes. She is committed to providing practical, solutions-focused advice within New Zealand’s dynamic and evolving resource management framework.
Prior to entering private practice, Olivia worked in the local government regulatory environment, monitoring compliance with resource consents and undertaking enforcement action in respect of breaches of resource management legislation.
She has both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Canterbury.
